The AVANCE Quality Child Care Matters (QCCM) program supports and guides family child care educators to learn new strategies that increase the quality of their care and improve support for families in their communities.

Building a community of family child care providers

The AVANCE Quality Child Care Matters (QCCM) program supports and guides family child care educators to learn new strategies that increase the quality of care for children and support families in their communities. AVANCE child care experts lead monthly training and professional development sessions, provide ongoing mentoring and coaching, and facilitate peer support and collaboration amongst home-based providers.

Family child care providers/ educators who participate in the QCCM program:

Receive training informed by the latest research in education in their preferred language.

Launch, build, and maintain a high-quality program and sustainable business.

Receive training, individualized coaching and mentoring.

Connect with local organizations, resources and services.

Participate in a network with their peers.

Foster their creativity and imagination, analyze, problem solve, and reflect.

Recognize the importance of using play as a learning tool to help children based on their age and developmental stage.
