One of the most unique things about our Parent-Child Education Program (PCEP) has always been the toy making component. Our trained toy makers guide parents through the process of creating educational toys for their children from readily available materials around the home. The purpose of toy making is to give parents tools that can be utilized in an educational way when playing with their children to increase serve and return, brain development, language acquisition, hand-eye coordination, visual discrimination, and auditory discrimination. Each of our toys is accompanied by a guide, called a Possibility Sheet, that gives parents options for how to utilize the toys.
