For over 50 years, AVANCE has pioneered two-generation programming that engages caregivers and children simultaneously through our core Parent-Child Education Program (PCEP). Our PCEP combines parenting education and high-quality early childhood education in a strengths-based approach that merges the latest adult learning strategies with tailored support to help families thrive. At AVANCE, our families learn together, grow together, and walk together. The AVANCE Two-Generation Learning Conference provides space for our educators to do the same.

Each of our sponsorship levels is named after a handmade, educational toy created by parents during the toymaking sessions of our Parent-Child Education Program (PCEP). Toy-making is a unique component of PCEP, where parents build connections with one another, practice practical skills like sewing, and learn how to use their creations to nurture their children's learning and development at home.
