AVANCE redesigns website to celebrate the power of culture, language and stories

AVANCE, a leading national nonprofit of two-generation programming, is excited to announce the launch of a newly redesigned website at avance.org. The design of the new website reflects the updated AVANCE brand and is a celebration of the journeys of the families, child care providers, and communities served by the organization. Consistent with the AVANCE philosophy of “meeting individuals where they are,” the new site is available in English and Spanish and features Spanish content translated by native speakers rather than a machine translation service.

The new website also features easy-to-use navigation and improved functionality, as well as a restructured programs section that provides visitors with a better understanding of each of the programs and services offered by AVANCE. The new site also makes it easier for visitors looking for support to find it. Multiple methods of contacting AVANCE include new forms that streamline processes for everything from a family enrolling into a program to another organization inquiring about licensing AVANCE programs.

The AVANCE Way – the core set of AVANCE values that drives the organization, including the importance of centering equity and supporting proximate leadership – is also evident in the new engaging content that not only explains the work of AVANCE but also highlights decades of impact. Beyond numbers, the website emphasizes the personal impact AVANCE has had in the lives of those served by the organization, elevating their voices by sharing their perspectives and stories in their own words.

“The purpose of the redesign was to really celebrate the families and communities that we have walked alongside for almost a decade,” said Dr. Teresa Granillo, AVANCE CEO. “We want our brand to represent nuestra cultura and the power and strength in our families’ stories and lived experiences. We also want the larger community to know all the different opportunities that AVANCE offers for children, families, child care providers and partners. Our new site better represents who AVANCE is, who we serve, and what we stand for.”
