AVANCE is a national nonprofit organization that focuses on early childhood education and parenting education, specifically within Latino communities, to support families on their journeys to economic mobility. Since 1995, AVANCE has served more than 90,000 parents and children in the Rio Grande Valley.

Enjoy an unforgettable evening of refreshments and networking with community leaders and elected officials from across the Rio Grande Valley. The event will include special remarks by AVANCE Board Member and educational trailblazer Dr. Daniel P. King and by Dr. Francisco Guajardo of the Museum of South Texas History. AVANCE alumna and board member Rosario Garza will also share the inspirational and heartwarming story of her journey, and the office of Texas State Representative Sergio Muñoz, Jr. will present AVANCE with a special resolution.
