AVANCE, un l\u00edder nacional en educaci\u00f3n para la primera infancia y la paternidad dentro de las comunidades latinas, ha nombrado a la Dra. Magda Villarreal como su nueva directora ejecutiva del Valle del R\u00edo Grande. Con una amplia experiencia en liderazgo educativo, una pasi\u00f3n por la participaci\u00f3n comunitaria y un compromiso con el \u00e9xito de los estudiantes y el personal, la Dra. Villarreal es la l\u00edder ideal para promover la misi\u00f3n de AVANCE en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como Directora Ejecutiva, la Dra. Villarreal proporciona supervisi\u00f3n al personal, los programas y las operaciones de AVANCE en el Valle del R\u00edo Grande, asegurando la alineaci\u00f3n con la misi\u00f3n y los objetivos estrat\u00e9gicos de AVANCE. Tambi\u00e9n dirigir\u00e1 los esfuerzos de expansi\u00f3n, las iniciativas de participaci\u00f3n comunitaria y el desarrollo de una junta asesora local para apoyar y fortalecer la presencia de AVANCE en el Valle del R\u00edo Grande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Antes de unirse a AVANCE, la Dra. Villarreal fue la Superintendente de \u00c1rea\/Asistente de Recursos Humanos de La Joya ISD. Su experiencia incluye servir como Superintendente Asistente de Servicios Estudiantiles y para Curr\u00edculo e Instrucci\u00f3n, roles en los que supervis\u00f3 las asociaciones comunitarias y las operaciones en todo el distrito vitales para el \u00e9xito de los estudiantes. La Doctora Villarreal tambi\u00e9n ha servido como directora en escuelas primarias y secundarias, y como maestra de preescolar y jard\u00edn de infantes. La Doctora Villarreal tiene un doctorado en Liderazgo Educativo de la Universidad Texas A&M-Kingsville y una Maestr\u00eda en Liderazgo Educativo de la Universidad de Texas-Pan American.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
