AVANCE, Inc. selects Interim Chief Executive Officer
SAN ANTONIO – (November 13, 2017) – AVANCE, Inc. is delighted to announce the selection of Thomas F. Hedrick as Interim CEO. Hedrick joins AVANCE as the organization builds on a 43-year legacy of providing early childhood and parenting education to low-income, at-risk Hispanic communities, predominantly in Texas, and lays the groundwork to expand its impact.
Tom comes to AVANCE from the Advanced Leadership Initiative at Harvard University, where he has been a Fellow since January. Most recently, Tom was an operating partner in Private Equity at The Stephens Group. Prior to his work at The Stephens Group, Tom was a Senior Partner with McKinsey and Company. He began his career at McKinsey in Houston and later moved to Dallas where he led the office.
