Achievement of the AVANCE Child Graduates in the El Paso ISD
Sixty-nine graduates of the AVANCE Parent-Child Education Program from 1998 through 2006 were tracked by the El Paso ISD and the following achievement was noted:
Met Standard, TAKS 2006 Grades 3-7

| Reading | 70% | 55% |
| Math | 74% | 62% |
| Writing | 82% | 73% |
| Science | 67% | 51% |
This is achieved in spite of the fact that 94% of AVANCE children are rated economically disadvantaged, compared to 70% for El Paso ISD as a whole.
